SIMPLY CLEAN, SIMPLY BEAUTIFULYou will love the look and feel of your new Bedford Mills™ carpet. Keep it looking and feeling like new with these simple cleaning instructions: KEEP IT CLEANThe wear of everyday traffic will inevitably track in dirt and grime that becomes embedded in your carpet. Frequent vacuuming will keep your carpet fresh, comfortable and attractive. Daily vacuuming is recommended for high traffic areas, and weekly vacuuming is recommended for areas that get used less often. For best results, use a vacuum cleaner with excellent suction and a beater bar or rotating brush. Be sure to adjust the vacuum cleaner for the height of your carpet, and perform about 3 passes for a lightly soiled area and 7 passes for a heavily soiled area. Avoid using attachments with teeth or ridges on loop pile carpet. A PROFESSIONAL TOUCHRegular care will reduce the appearance of wear in your carpet. In addition, routine cleaning and hot water extraction are required to maintain warranty coverage. Use a trained carpet care professional every 1 to 2 years to put the spring back into every step of your Bedford Mills carpet. Remember to keep your receipts as proof of maintenance, should a warranty claim arise. BOUNCE BACKIncrease the longevity of your carpet with the fiber's natural resilience by occasionally rearranging furniture. Shifting the load of heavy items will give your carpet a rest, and the chance to bounce back. RINSE AND REPEATWhen everyday vacuuming just doesn't get the job done; it may be time for a deeper cleaning. Your carpet may need a shampoo, but before selecting from the wide array of commercial carpet cleaners available today: dry cleaners, spray-on foam cleaners and wet shampoo; be sure to check with your Bedford Mills retailer. For best results, hire a professional. Get a recommendation for a professional carpet cleaner from your Bedford Mills retailer. And don't be shy; be sure to get a reference and estimate from the professional carpet cleaner of your choice. |
